Korea is undergoing something of an epidemic. Women,
nowadays, very seldom use public toilets if they can help it, and when they do
need to use them, they make sure that they search the cubicle thoroughly before
they do so. The problem is not cleanliness or supplies – nothing worse than not
being able to clean up after doing your thing – but the nationwide
proliferation of hidden cameras.
These cameras tend to be hidden in places where people,
usually women, but also sometimes men, get undressed, whether fully or
partially. These video clips then pop up on the internet, on sites that cater
to feeding the sexual urges of those who enjoy amateur footage. Involuntary
participation in these clips apparently adds to their value, with the viewers
taking deeper pleasure in knowing that their victims are unaware of being
watched.
Now, there is a huge difference between knowingly created
amateur porn videos, whether they show actual sexual activity or are more
voyeuristic, showing people doing everyday things like watching television,
cooking a meal or dressing and undressing, and involuntary amateur videos like
those mentioned above, captured on the sly without the knowledge or consent of
the so-called star of the show.
One of the main differences is, of course, the massive
breach of privacy. If you wouldn’t break into a public toilet to watch someone
peeing or pooping, then you really shouldn’t watch these videos… However, you
might have a partner who is amenable to letting you watch, and some of the
videos that seem to feature hidden camera footage are, in fact, staged. So how
can you tell?
Well, the truth is, you really can’t tell. Look for things
like the person’s reactions: if they never look at the camera, do not in any
way at all show that they are aware that they are being watched, if they seem
as though they are genuinely unaware that they are being watched: then they are
probably the victim of a hidden camera, and you should no longer use that site.
Genuine footage that purports to be hidden, but that is actually a set-up, will
offer more stimulation, with the actress or actor revealing more of their body
to thrill their viewers than an oblivious person would.
